Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy applies to "consumer health data" as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act and similar laws in other US states, such as Nevada and Connecticut. It adds to our Privacy Policy, which covers all other information.
1. What consumer health data we collect
AskTufti does not ask for health information. If you choose to mention your physical or mental health in your onboarding answers or conversations (for example, stress, sleep, illness, mood or treatment), that information may be consumer health data. Tufti may also keep a short summary of it in her memory of you, so she can remember context across sessions.
2. Where it comes from
Only from you, through what you write in AskTufti.
3. Why we collect and use it
Only to provide the service you asked for: generating Tufti's replies and remembering you across sessions. We do not use it for advertising, we do not use it to make decisions about you, and we do not use it to train AI models.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell consumer health data. We share it only with the service providers who process it on our behalf to run AskTufti, listed in section 7 of our Privacy Policy (database, server and AI processing, search, error monitoring). We may disclose it if the law requires it.
5. Your rights
You can:
- confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it, including a list of the third parties we share it with;
- withdraw your consent to its collection and sharing;
- ask us to delete it.
Email privacy@asktufti.com from the address on your account. We respond within 45 days. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we will respond to the appeal within 45 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
